I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Lotus's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lotus's Story...
Lotus' former owner was a backyard miller who didn't care a lick about anything except making money off her puppies. Fortunately this beautiful girl found her way to BARC before it was too late. We are so glad she did as she is just as sweet as pumpkin pie (with whip cream on top!).

Lotus wants nothing more than to wiggle wag her stumpy tail and be loved on and petted. She is calm and gentle with the two small children and even the kitty in her foster home.

Lotus is only estimated to be about three years old, but was obviously not well taken care of by her previous owner. She is currently undergoing treatment for a skin infection and is malnourished. With the loving care and proper nutrition in her foster home, she will soon be a thriving lady and we estimate she will be ready for adoption around the end of the month. Lotus is being fostered by Amber and Greg in Tallahassee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lotus, a Jacksonville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
