Boomer's Story...

Meet Boomer, 8 month old Boxer/Border Collie Mix.  Wonderful disposition with a laid back personality when no stimulation is around.  Life of the party when you're on the go.  He sits, crate trained, house trained, doesn't chew and gets along with other dogs.  He loves his balls, will jump run and bring back balls.  He has the cutest white racing strips down the back of his legs, unique.

Could use a basic obedience class . He has not been around cats and he would be okay with older teenage kids, young ones he would just knock over.

Up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have    been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.  The adoption fee is $300.00 If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boomer, a Akron Boxer/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Border Collie for sale in Akron, or seeking a Boxer/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Akron.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Akron already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Akron breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Border Collie breeders who help with Boxer/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Akron paves the way for another one to be saved.
