Molly's Story...
Molly is a wonderful border collie/ lab mix who's tail never stops wagging! She loves everyone & thing she meets. Gets along great with all of her canine siblings. She's only 8 months old & has a fabulous temperament! Miss Molly has a lot of energy so daily exerciser will be a must!! Molly is also VERY smart, so a home w border collie experience is preferred. Because of Molly's high energy, she will do best in a home with children 8 and older.

All of FMNR animals are spay/neutered, microchipped w a lifetime registration, up to date on rabies, DHPP, & bordatella, heartworm tested (age appropriate), and dewormed.
We are a foster based organization so all animals are in homes around the Chicagoland area.
Please email info@forgetmenotrescue.com for more information and an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Manhattan Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
