Lesa is a female Havanese/Poodle mix only 1 year old. She is a stocky, solid girl weighing 18 pounds full grown. Lesa has been professionally groomed and unfortunately had to have her beautiful coat shaved due to matting and neglect. When her hair grows out she will have a long, wavy, gorgeous, deep golden coat with bronze highlighting. Lesa is non-shedding. Lesa is a quiet, submissive, tender young dog that is very eager for your love and approval. She wants a trustworthy person to bond to and will most likely be somewhat of a velcro dog, following you all around the house and sticking close to your side when out in public. Lesa loves a gentle touch and adores being pampered and fussed over. Once she is comfortable, she will be very animated with her trusted people, asking for attention and happily trotting over when called (if she isn't already by your side). Lesa likes treats and will take them carefully from your hand. She is excellent with other dogs but doesn't seem to be a fan of large crowds, rough play, or lots of commotion. She is good with children but they need to be more on the quiet and gentle side like she is. Lesa is a peace loving dog and enjoys a calm, secure, loving environment. She walks well on leash with a harness and looks to her people for direction. Lesa is good with her indoor habits and knows how to go potty outside. She is a sweet, easy keeper and is going to make a very devoted pet. Lesa was rescued from a high-volume shelter where she was brought in stray, sad, and neglected. This darling dog deserves a stable, responsible home to call her own. She is young and so will most likely be playful with toys and other gentle dogs her size. Lesa is very healthy and ready for her new forever family today!
Lesa’s adoption donation is $475 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Lesa is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Sunghye and Joe and is ready for her forever home.
