My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi ya'll, My name is Jonah and I am a true southern gentleman. I have impeccable manners in the house, on the leash, and with other dogs. I am just happy to be in a comfortable and safe place with a nice human to keep me company, so whatever goes on is fine with me. One of the best things to happen to me so far was getting a bath and being clean again!

I'm in what you might call my "mid-years"... a little older and wiser than some, which makes me an excellent companion for leisurely walks or watching the bees buzz and snoozing on the porch.

I'm not the handsomest boy around, because someone threw scalding water on my back. So I have some hair loss, but what older fella doesn't, right? Anyway what I lack in looks I more than make up for with my sweet disposition.

I look forward to meeting you sometime in the future. Until then I think I'll just stretch out and bide my time in the sun with these nice folks.
