Rocky's Story...
***CURRENTLY IN FOSTER CARE, CALL 804-991-3200 TO SCHEDULE A MEET AND GREET!***
Rocky, male, 2 years old, approximately 55-65 lbs, house trained.

Rocky is such a kind-hearted, good-natured boy! He definitely didn't deserve to be turned in here! Rocky is smart, knows sit, and has been around his previous neighbor's children often. He also lived with a lab and yorkie, so we're sure Rocky could adjust to new playmates with a good introduction! This handsome boy is also house trained already. Seems to us that Rocky is SUPER ADOPT-A-BULL!

If you would like to meet Rocky, give us a call at 804-991-3200, an email at pganimals@princegeorgeva.org, or a message at facebook.com/pganimals!

*Foster update: Rocky is doing well in his foster home with four other dog friends! He is also doing excellent with their children. He is house trained as well. What more could you want?! Call 804-991-3200 to meet him!

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Prince George, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Prince George.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prince George already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prince George breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue.
