My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Hi, friends! My name's SWIZZLE, and I'm a two-year-old Beagle/ Chihuahua mix who LOVES other dogs. I'm a super cute and sensitive-souled sweetheart. I'm pretty overwhelmed here at the shelter, so I tend to hang out in my bed, looking unsure. I feel much better when I get out to the play yard, and I'm full of joy and confidence if I get to play out there with another dog. I'm tentative around people, although you'll find that my trust increases when I'm treated with kindness. A tasty snack doesn't hurt, either. A sensitive girl like me would need to be in a quiet home, so I'd prefer either an adult home or a family where the kids are older, mellow, and considerate. With the love and kindness of a nice person or family, I'm sure to blossom into a wonderful pet and a devoted friend. Please come meet me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter and consider changing my life for the better. I'd love to spend some time out in the play yard with you. I hope to see you soon!
