COOLEY's Story...
There are eight adorable puppies in this litter and each one of them is just as friendly, happy and loving as they can be. They love to run and play, eat, nap and play again. When these babies were only three days old, they along with their Mom, were dumped in a local kill shelter. We managed to get them out the next day and they have been great every since. They are good puppies too, not so hyper you can’t love on them and they all get along with each other really well. Their Mom is black and tan, weighing about 35-40 lbs, but she has a long body and semi-short legs. We think Mom is a Lab/Dachshund mix, so the pups all have a little “Low Rider” in them. Cooley is sure to bring about a lot of fun to some lucky family. He was born 1/17/17 making him 11 weeks old and weighing 13.5 pounds (one of the biggest in the litter) at the time of this posting (4/4/17). He has been neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Cooley is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COOLEY, a Bedminster Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dachshund breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
