This is Alley, this loving boy showed up at the founders house in the large snow we had a few weeks ago. He was at the window crying for help, he was taken in and housed in a safe warm room, very hungry and content to be out of the cold.
Alley was taken to the vet for testing and shots, he is about 2-3 years old per the vet that examined him, he is neutered and up to date on his shots. Alley is a sweet boy but he is FIV positive and her vet didn’t like the idea of mixing a FIV positive with others, in our rescue I have a FIV positive that is living with many cats and without any issues, the findings are that is it not spread in saliva, urine or feces but through a deep bite wound which the chances of a friendly cat biting another is very slim. FIV kitties can live a long and healthy life.
Alley is a handsome brown tabby with white and very people friendly as you can see from the picture he likes being held. He may be the lap cat you are looking for.
If you can this boy to find a forever home so he is not dumped in a snowstorm again he would be most grateful. Please call Jean at 717-630-9318 and she can give you more info on this wonderful boy.
