My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Garth. I'm a 2 year old male Tibetan Terrier mix. Mixed with what, I'm not sure. Your guess is as good as mine. I weigh about 15 pounds. I'm already full grown, and I think I'm small enough to be a great travel buddy. I'm neutered and up to date on all of my shots. Just say the word and I'll pack my treats up and head on over! I'm as adorable and sweet as they come, with lots of playful energy! I get along well with everyone I meet - humans and canines alike. I assure you that you'll fall in love with my spunky personality when you meet me!

Not a whole lot is known about my history. I was a stray wandering the streets of South LA when, sadly, one day, I was attacked by a big dog! I was then picked up by Animal Control and dropped off at the pound. I had large bite wounds on both of my rear legs and I was limping as well. After the shelter vet examined me and x-rays were taken, it was determined that I had no serious injuries. My legs were bandaged and I was sent back to my kennel, where I waited day and night to be adopted. I wasn't sure if and when I would get out of that scary high-kill shelter.

Then my lucky day came along. A kind volunteer took notice of me and told CageFree about my plight. Once my new friends at CageFree met me, they just knew I was deserving of a wonderful family. Now that I've settled into their facility, I get to play with dogs and get pets from humans all day long. It's awesome, but my journey doesn't end here.

So, what do you think? Do I seem like the right dog for you? If so, please contact CageFree to arrange a visit with me. I can't wait to move into my forever home!
