Important Note

Stockton is best friends with York. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Hi, remember us? We used to be called Figaro and Bebe, but now that we have a brand new foster home, we have new names to go with it. We are named after two of the Apostle Islands that have tombolos. A tombolo is a sand spit or bar that is attached to an island (sort of like a cat's tail). We are being fostered at the Bayfield Regional Conservancy and it's a great opportunity for us to experience new things and meet new people; we even met a DOG. It was no big deal. The people here say that we are calm and well mannered, but also playful and affectionate. We love belly rubs and you will love giving them because we are as soft as bunnies. We're not needy cats, so if you don't have time to be constantly playing with us, we'll be happy to amuse ourselves. Then when you do have time, we'll be there, ready for snuggles, pets and lots of lap sitting! We've lived together our whole lives and we would like to keep it that way, so if you are looking for a ready-made pair of kitties, you couldn't do better than us – the island kitties!

Come Meet Our Pets...

In addition to the pets listed on Adopt-A-Pet, we have some that are not quite ready for prime time, but we will accept adoption applications now on these for when they reach the adoptable stage. At present, these include blue-eyed Siamese marked, a Russian Blue cross, several different calico patterns, tabbies of all stripes, and Tuxedo and Basic Black for those formal holiday occasions. Call Helping PAWS for more information.
