My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is an adorably sweet basset/possibly bloodhound mix that is still in New Orleans with our rescue. She can be easily transported up to Lisbon, CT to an approved adopter.

Missy is a middle aged basset mix girl who came to us with major skin issues from lack of care. Her skin issues are now under control and she is much more comfortable. She is vaccinated, spayed and heartworm negative. She is on prescription food and daily Apoquel for her skin but both may eventually be discontinued as her skin improves. We have also noticed that many of these dogs that have skin issues down here in the South, where it is damp and warm, permanently get better when they move up to the Northeast where the weather is drier and cooler.
We check vet references and do home visits prior to an adoption. We also require that our dogs be on monthly year round heartworm prevention. Please email QueenB534@aol.com for more information.
