My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Teddy! He is a 6 year old 10.5 pound male Poodle. He's a long-legged fellow and very, very sweet. He came to us after his former owner entered a nursing home. As is often the case with seniors and their dogs, as the owner's health goes into decline, their dogs don't get regular vet care. Teddy's teeth were cemented with tartar and his breath was stinky.

Teddy ended up at Animal Control after his owner went into the nursing home. He was scared and lonely. He stayed there for three days and rubbed his nose raw trying to get out of his cage. It must have been torture for him to have to live in that small box for days on end.

He's out and free now, and is so happy to be able to stretch out and nap on the sofa and eat a good meal. He had a thorough bathing to get all cleaned up and then a trim to get looking more proper. Teddy would love a home of his own again. He's fine with other doggies but would love to be your one and only.

Teddy has had his teeth cleaned, is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $250.00.
