My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet little Bunny! She's a 5.5 year old female Shih Tzu who escaped from a breeding kennel because her left eye was injured somehow. That was enough reason for the breeder to give little Bunny up so she could get the medical care she needed.

Bunny weighs about 7 pounds and has since had her left eye removed. She got her name because she hops around like a little Bunny! She does the play bow, the tail wag and then can jump in the air and do a 180 degree turn to repeat it all again in order to get one of her dog pals to join in her play. She is a delight.

Bunny is adorable and when her hair grows in, the missing eye will be scarcely noticeable. Bunny has also lost several teeth due to lack of dental care in her earlier years. We've had her teeth cleaned, too, so her remaining teeth and her gums are healthy. She also has a number of sebaceous cysts on her (little lumps) which are benign and just something she's able to live with. Her long hair conceals them, so they don't show at all.

Bunny has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.
