My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie is a 3 month, 15 lb. old Plott hound mix that was left at our meet and greet event yesterday. I estimate her to be be about 50 lbs as an adult. She is currently about 15 lbs.

Cookie was given as a gift to someone in college. She had to sneak her into the dorm room and couldn't even walk her for fear of being caught. The girl realized she couldn't care for Cookie. She couldn't afford her shots or her food, so she came to see if anyone could take her.

Cookie she is a little overwhelmed by all the dogs at the kennel house because she's never been around anyone but her littermates. She seems to be taking it all in stride and after a few hours of hiding she has found her way up onto the bed for morning coffee. :). She loves toys and is very curious about the other dogs.

I can tell she has been held a lot. :). She loves it. She uses puppy pads but will need some training to go outside. We started that today! She slept quietly in her crate all night and cried when she needed to potty. She is a very sweet little girl who is good with dogs, cats and kids.
Cookie will get her first set of shots and her microchip today and we will get her scheduled to be spayed.

All dogs are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and Heartworm negative unless otherwise noted. We require an adoption application, home visit and adoption fee of $200. You also get a two week trial period with all of our dogs. To apply, simply go to www.forgottenpaws.com.

Many of our dogs are in foster homes all over Atlanta, thus an application is required before an appt can be set to meet a dog.
