Hi! My name is Simka and I am a (approx) 14yr old black female Italian greyhound. I am super mellow and am just happy to have a place to curl up and sleep the day away! I am at a foster home with my sister, Brandy whom I am rather attached to. We were rescued from a hoarder situation in Indiana. Because of this, I am highly skilled at making nests for myself. One of my favorite things is to make the perfect spot to sleep in out of the blankets on a bed. I am blind, but adapt very quickly and respond to your call. I figured out the layout of my foster home within a few weeks. I am partially house trained – when taken outside, I go outside, and know to go on the piddle-pad when inside. When rescued I had hardly any fur, but in no time, my dark fur is growing in. And yes, my tongue sticks out the side of my mouth…but some think this is super-cute! If you are looking for a low-key loving dog that will be forever grateful for getting a second chance, I could be your future forever companion. I am bonded with my sister Brandy so I need a home that will love us both!
