My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EST DOB: 10/9/10
Medical Condition: Feline Herpes

Hi, my name is Bootz. I was found behind the Fort Worth Surgery Center when I was just a baby. I was very scared at the time and didn't trust people. But, something amazing happened! A kind lady took me in and showed me what it's like to be loved. She brought me to an animal hospital and I become their clinic kitty. I lived there for almost six years until just recently.

My foster mom took me in about three months ago when my clinic kitty days came to an abrupt end. The animal hospital I called home, shut it's doors forever. I am still learning the ropes of being in an home environment, but I am really enjoying it. And I am slowly starting to come out of my shell. I am a very playful girl and will make a toy out of just about anything you give me. I am also content just to sit beside you on the couch quietly as you watch tv or read. Every once in a while, I will paw at you softly to let you know that I wouldn't mind a pet or two, or maybe a scratch on the chin. I don't demand constant attention, but I do enjoy it. I also don't mind living with dogs and will tolerate them as long as they give me my space and they don't chase me.

As far as other kitties go, that's a different story entirely. Some I do okay with, but others tend to rub me the wrong way and I can get a little bit bossy. I would do best in a quiet home with maybe one other furry friend. I also wouldn't mind being an only child and having all of your attention.
