If a relatively low energy dog who is great with other dogs and absolutely adores children is what you are looking for, Snoop is your guy!
This young man, (approximately 18 months old), has been in a foster home with dogs of all sizes, kids from 7-15 years old, and two cats. He is quiet and polite, and has been learning all about being a member of the family. He's been working hard on learning the rules and practicing his manners, and will thrive with a family who can continue to guide him. He doesn't jump up on people, is learning to sit and lie down, And already walks very well on leash.
Snoop is a bit of a free spirit, and is not really fond of being in a kennel for long periods of time, but happily goes in for meal times and short training sessions. As long as nothing too tempting is left within reach, he is ok to be left alone in the house. A secure yard is recommended in the city, though he would probably do well on a farm or acreage given time to adjust. He is quick to trust, and he has an excellent recall!
Snoop is about 30 kg of love and kisses. The best guess on breed is border collie mix, likely with pitbull, and possibly some Akita.

About Lucky Paws Dog Rescue Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Paws Dog Rescue (LPDR) is an incorporated non-profit organization. We are currently in the process of becoming a registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Our group had a dream of forming an organization that focused on what is most important in a dog rescue - the dogs. Our goal is to help as many homeless, injured, emaciated, neglected, and in need dogs as possible, while working towards larger change for animal welfare on a federal and provincial level.

We are also focused on making this a great experience for our volunteers and fosters, as we could not do this without them! Through them, we hope to not only save many homeless dogs, but also to educate and spread awareness to the general public about animal overpopulation in Canada.
