Make magic happen by falling in love with marvelous Marina! Marina is a beautiful, eager to please, intelligent and goofy "luvabull" girl! She is a 35 pound, 5.5 month old American Staffordshire Terrier mix who, according to her foster mom "could be a cross between a bunny, hopping from couch to floor to couch, and a piglet, the way she roots to get as close to you as possible for snuggles while grunting the entire time!" Marina adores any toy that squeaks, and will carry it around squeaking from room to room. She has three favorite times of the day: dinner, play and snuggle. She gets along with other dogs and will happily play with them, should they desire a romp session. Marina seems happiest when she has a floor covered with toys and her humans to bring them to, and snuggle next to while she chews or plays. She is beginning her housetraining and is doing well, but will need your patience and guidance to excel. She has learned to sit and is working on her leash training. Like most puppies her age, Marina would benefit from a basic obedience class. This girl is highly motivated by treats. Marina is a sweetheart, and a very human-oriented baby who is happiest when she can be by your side. She prefers older, more considerate kids, and has not proven with cats, but would likely be fine with a feline friend. Show her some love and affection, and she will show you her appreciation for years to come! Apply to adopt her today!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
