Shandy is a 3 year old, 28 pound girl. She has spent her life either chained or running the neighborhood scavenging from people's garbage cans and having puppies. We were called by a neighbor when Shandy and her puppies were found in a wet hole. The owner surrendered all of them to Goofy Foot Dog Rescue. Shandy is a very quiet, well mannered girl who loves her humans and loves to sit next to them. Shandy sleeps on a dog bed in her foster mom's bedroom, she's housebroken and will attach herself to her "person". Shandy is learning what toys are and how to just be a dog now! She is not fond of cats though....so not cats! It's her time to have her own family who will treat her with love and patience and show her what a real family is!
