Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Faye
Faye was rescued with her sister Tina by a BHS volunteer from a parking lot culvert where the 2 month old babies had been living. We think they were born sometime in late April, 2016. Faye & Tina were so lucky to be rescued. They were thin & had diarrhea, probably from eating whatever trash tiny kittens can manage to eat. They were very, very frightened for a long time; we assume their mom had also grown up as a forgotten stray. Mothers like that teach their babies to be distrustful. Despite being scared, these kittens have always been gentle. Faye has come a long way in foster care. She is so very shiny & healthy now. Her foster mom used the fact that Faye is so worried that she may go hungry again that food works well as a training aid. Faye now comes up to greet people she knows & asks to be petted. She is still spooked by sudden noises & movements or strange people, so she would do best in a quiet, calm home. She would probably do well with other cats & older children. She is still afraid of dogs. We would want her to be indoors only to be sure she stays safe. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, & tested for FeLV/FIV.
