This is Jeter. He was brought to the vet I work at to be euthanized due to the owner working 3 jobs, going through a divorce, and not having time for him and his brother. They had been crated for 13 hours a day. I adoped them temporarily to try to find them homes. On exam and labwork, Jeter is a healthy, slightly overweight beagle/basset mix. Jeter is about 10 years old and not good with other dogs. He is great with children and people. Jeter has to stay with his brother Bruno, but is best to not be around other dogs. Jeter and Bruno just need a place to snuggle on the bed or couch for the rest of their golden years.
