Meet Jacque

He is a 8 month old Labrador retriever mix. Jacque came from a horrible hoarder home. He was full of fleas, ticks, underweight and terrified. He had very little socialization and took a long time to come out of his shell.

Fast forward to now... he's happy, healthy and fully recovered!! The miracle of fostering a once unloved black puppy.

Jacque would be great for running or long hikes. He is a sweet dog, who would do equally wonderful with a single person or an active family.

C'mon, look at those puppy eyes... wouldn't you love to adopt Me?

About Act Now Rescue - St Louis Mo

About Our Rescue Group...

ACT Now! Rescue is an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) no kill dog rescue and animal welfare organization serving St. Louis County, Jefferson County, St. Charles, Warren and Franklin County in Missouri. We operate through a foster network and work with local shelters, as well as take in stray and abandoned animals. As an organization, we strongly oppose puppy mills and breeding programs and emphasize education and a vigorous spay/neuter program in order to reduce problems of overpopulation.
We started full operations in September 2006. There are many exciting opportunities to join the group and help further the causes of dog and cat welfare in this region. We are currently looking for generous people willing to share their homes and serve as foster parents for the animals we take in as well as volunteers to serve is almost every other area of the operation.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We work soley as a foster rescue organization. Arrangements are made on a case by case basis for meeting families with prospective animals. Every consideration is made to accomodate families to make the adoption process as easy as possible.
