Hello there! My name is Opie, I am a super sweet, sensitive 2 year old chocolate lab/border collie mix. Though I can be shy in the beginning, with patience and a few treats, you can tell I am dog that is eager to bond with that special someone. Once I settle in and am comfortable, I love to play fetch and tug with my human friends, but my most favorite game is to play with my puppy pals!! I absolutely love playing with dogs. So much so that it really helps boost my confidence and thus, I would need to have another doggy friend in the house with me. The city can be really overwhelming, so I need to be in a quiet low traffic rural owned home with no kids or cats. I really enjoy staying active with lots of play and exercise. When I’m tired from a long day of running around, there’s nothing I want more than to cuddle for a couple of hours before bedtime. I really just need a quiet home with a yard and another fun energetic puppy pal with adopters that are understanding of my needs. Sound like you? Fill out an application today, so we can meet!
