Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our precious Milo hasn't had a very good life. Milo has spent his entire life of 9 years on a chain living in deplorable conditions. Until one day he escaped his chain and was found by a rescuer and his owners surrendered him thankfully. Milo has left the past in the past and is now enjoying living indoors with his foster family. Milo is doing exceptionally well living indoors. He weighs approximately 60 pounds and appears to be some mix if German Shepherd and possibly Australian Shepherd, but this is just our best guess. Milo can be a bit timid at first, but came around very quickly after coming into the rescue. Milo has done excellent with the other dogs here at the rescue, but would most likely prefer a lower energy dog as a companion. He LOVES to play fetch with a ball and will always bring it back. This boy certainly does not act his age. He still has PLENTY of life left to live. Milo has never had an accident in the house and does well in a crate, although there really isn't any reason to crate him as he is house trained and not destructive, one of the perks of an older dog. We will require that Milo's new home have a fenced in yard, as he does enjoy laying in the sunshine. He is just as sweet an affectionate as can be. I like to sit in the floor with him and gently rub him and when i quit, he will gently place his paw on my lap or head and want to be petted some more. He knows basic commands such as sit and shake. Milo is currently being fostered in Tennessee, but is available to be transported up North to an approved adopter. Milo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchiped, heartworm negative, and kept on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $275 and his transport fee is $145.
