Josephine's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Josephine's Story...

Meet Josephine. She and her sister, Madeline, are just 6 month old hound mixes with the sweetest an most demure dispositions. They were dumped at a southern kill shelter alone and afraid. Josephine is a little bit more feisty than her laid back sister. She is great on the leash and oh so sweet. While Josephine and her sister are best friends and we would love to see them placed together, they would be okay going into separate homes. Josephine is about 35 lbs and has the cutest black markings on her face! She is full of fun and ready to play. They love children, other dogs, and seem to be just fine with cats!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Josephine, a Brooklyn Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
