Abby's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Abby's Story...
Abby is a 1 year old purebred chihuahua who needed a new home because she was frightened of the young kids and dad in her home. She has been passed around to 6 different homes in her young life, and she needs just the right stable environment. Abby is just a little girl at 6 pounds full grown, and like most chis she is not fond of small children. Abby has a delightful, charming personality when she feels safe with her human. She is in a foster home with an adult female and is doing great. She is fully house trained to pads or outdoors, is crate trained and leash trained. Abby's new home must meet the following criteria: Females only, no girls younger than 10 and another small, playful dog for her to play with. She does not need a fenced yard and she can stay home with a doggie playmate while her mom is working. Oh yes, Abby does like to sleep under the covers too! She is with a nonprofit 501c3 rescue. Her $250 adoption fee covers her heartworm test and pill, spay, shots, worming, flea/tick prevention and HomeAgain microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Osseo Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
