Baron's Story...
Baron, a very active, energetic 10 month old Idaho fuzzy. Fuzzes are bred for their herding abilities, their stamina and their loyalty, a combination of Bearded Collie, Wheaten terrier and Border Collie, sometimes they will have Airedale also. Protective of their territory and families. Requiring daily mental and physical stimulation, a large secure yard or acreage is required. Very eager to please, the breed adapts quickly to their environment Baron would make a great jogging hiking companion. He would love a family with kids over the age of 6 to do things with. Cats are not in the picture for Baron. He would do better with another dog his size, not an alpha male. Baron can sail over a 5-6 foot fence with ease, which should be a consideration. He would benefit from some training, with an owner with a gentle yet firm voice. Grain free food is recommended. A low shedder, though requires routine grooming. Baron is approximately 35-38 pounds now. He is good on a leash, started on house training, and knows basic commands. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baron, a E. Wenatchee Bearded Collie/Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bearded Collie/Wheaten Terrier for sale in E. Wenatchee, or seeking a Bearded Collie/Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in E. Wenatchee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in E. Wenatchee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a E. Wenatchee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bearded Collie/Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Bearded Collie/Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in E. Wenatchee paves the way for another one to be saved.
