Willow's Story...
Hi! I'm Willow. I'm only 8 weeks old but not long ago things were a little rough for me. Now I'm healthy and so happy that my tail wags day long. I just need the perfect family to take me home and give me all things I need to learn and grow! At my foster home, I love to play with my doggie foster sister and all of the kids in the neighborhood. I'm still trying to figure out the furry things that meow, but they seem OK, too. I really like tug of war and exploring the backyard. Every day I'm learning about new things like sleeping in my crate, going potty outside and riding in a car. When all of this excitement wears me out, I take a nap on my foster mom's feet while she works. I can't wait to meet my new family and dream of all of the adventures ahead of me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Allen Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Allen, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Allen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allen paves the way for another one to be saved.
