Cheyenne's Story...
I'm a fun-loving gal who needs a home that has a big yard and can give me a job! The staff here thinks I'm a border collie/heeler mix, so I need something to do all the time. I am very friendly (a little shy at first), but then I have so much energy and I just need to do something, so I run and chew! That's why I was brought here; I chewed up everything in the house and my owners couldn't take it anymore. So now I'm here, looking for a new forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheyenne, a Sierra Vista Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Sierra Vista, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Sierra Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sierra Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sierra Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sierra Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
