FFOSK9 Rescue has updated our website and would love for you to come check us out at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org. There you will see all of our available pets.
If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption or if you are on the Northeast and working with our wonderful partner, For The Love Of Dogs/Vermont Dog Rescue, please fill out an application at http://www.vermontdogrescue.com/adoption-application/.  For the Love of Dogs Vermont Dog Rescue is our partner rescue and helps place many of our rescues into loving homes.

April is as sweet as can be. She loves nothing more then to hang with her humans. She is playful yet calm. She has good house manners and behaves well when left unattended. She is approximately 10 months old and weighs 15 pounds. She is HW negative and started on heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention.  She is crate trained, walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She is such a wonderful dog to have and would make a great companion for the young or old.

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

OUT OF STATE adoptions are possible.  If you are working with For The Love Of Dogs/Vermont Dog Rescue, the additional fee is $200 to cover transportation costs and the health certificate, which is required to cross state lines.  Transport to other areas is dependent on location, fees, and availability of independent transport services.  You are always welcome to pick up your new family member.

We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.

We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.

About Furever Friends of The South K-9 Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a home based, incorporated 501(c)3 non profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten unwanted pets in forever homes. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, strays, and unwanted pets prior to being euthanized. We do not adopt to outside only homes,or to anyone wanting to crop, dock or do any other alterations to their pets, except spaying and neutering. We highly recommend positive training methods once pets are placed in forever homes. All pets are completely vetted, heart worm tested and treated if necessary, brought up to date on all vaccines and rabies certificates. Also all FFOS pups are spayed/neutered prior to adoptions, except in the case of young pups, which will only be adopted with a contract to have them spayed or neutered when they are old enough. This is non-negotiable.
