Nikki's Story...
This beautiful girl's name is Nikki. She is the sister to Nigel. They look almost identical. Nikki loves her walks and all the attention you can give her. She gets along very well with other dogs, cats and children, just like her brother. She loves to run, run and run. She would have to have a fenced in backyard to play in and is of course a house dog. She is house trained also just like Nigel. They both give little whines when it is time to go outside. Nikki has a very dainty face and just loves to give kisses.
If you'd like to visit Nikki please call (731) 483-2026 to set up a time, for the duo does live in my home and I want to make sure to be there for you to visit.
Either one of these dogs will steal your heart!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nikki, a Yorkville Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Yorkville, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Yorkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
