"Sammy" has a white-and-brindle short smooth coat, a long tail, and a pretty face with a black button nose and short semi-erect ears. "Sammy" has a friendly outgoing personality and is ok with children and other dogs, but she is NOT good with cats :( Her previous owner told us that Sammy tends to be protective of her food and toys.
"Sammy" has been kept indoors and is housebroken. She is a big girl who currently weighs 91.9 lbs. and is very strong on the other end of a leash. "Sammy" knows several commands (sit, stay, down, and go to bed).
"Sammy" has tested negative for heartworm. She has a few ailments that come with the privilege of growing older and experiences some hip dysplasia.
She is a beautiful girl when you see her in person. We look forward to taking more flattering photos on a sunny day but opted to take preliminary pictures indoors since it was raining the day Sammy arrived.
