Facts about Lilly

We rescued Lilly from an animal shelter and they could not tell us anything about her. Our vet guessed her breed as a lab/pit bull mix. We adopted her at 4 months old. She has always been a nervous dog but such a great companion. She is loyal to us and thinks she is a lap dog (at 45 pounds). She can make her way into your lap if you allow it as she just wants to cuddle.
She suffers from social awkwardness. She is fine around other dogs at the dog park but is very clingy to us. When she does play she plays hard as she is only 2.5 years old. She tends to be a little nervous in new surroundings.

Whoever adopts Lilly will need to understand that she loves hikes, loves the water and chasing balls. She loves walks but does pull a little and we have been working on this.
We hope whoever adopts Lilly will take the time to work with her regarding her fear of strangers. It usually takes 1x then she is fine. We are starting training tomorrow in hopes to help her adjust better in new environments!!!
