Lilly's Story...
Lilly is a pointer, Cattle dog, Great Dane mix. .

Lilly and her 7 brothers and sisters were product of careless dog owners. Someone had two dogs in their house who were both unfixed, and they ended up breeding and having these 8 puppies. Mom was a Cattle dog, and dad was a Great Dane/Pit bull/Mutt? The owner of the two dogs who had the pups contacted us to see if we could take them, and gave us a deadline of 4 days or else they were dumping them. We quickly took them in and got them straight to a vet. Poor babies were incredibly skinny, filled with ticks, and intestinal parasites. They are now on track and becoming very healthy and strong very quickly. The ticks are all gone, along with the parasites, and they are gaining weight super fast. They look like they were never neglected.

All these puppies have wonderful, happy personalities. Since they are now 9 weeks old and spent that whole time socializing with each other, they are great with other dogs, and surprisingly super outgoing with people. They all love attention more than anything. They will crawl on anybodies laps and wiggle their little puppy butts and give puppy kisses. These puppies are going to be wonderful dogs, of course they will need the proper training and puppy socialization classes, just like any young pup, but they are on their way to being amazing dogs with amazing personalities.

Lilly is right in the mix. She is healthy but not the biggest or the smallest. Lilly has the cutest face and the sweetest little personality with a fluffy white patch of fur on her belly. She love to show you her belly and get rubs all the time!

We would love to see these pups go to amazing homes with families who have unlimited love to give. These pups will be 100% indoor dogs and we would love for them to be treated like family, since they are members of the family. They are all so sweet an innocent, we want to make sure they have nothing but the best for the rest of their lives.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Boulder Pointer/Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Great Dane for sale in Boulder, or seeking a Pointer/Great Dane puppy from a breeder in Boulder.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boulder already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boulder breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Great Dane breeders who help with Pointer/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boulder paves the way for another one to be saved.
