My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Laredo is a darling 1.5 year old yorkie poo in need of a forever home. This is a very unique, special little dog who needs a devoted parent. Laredo weighs 5 pounds and enjoys his home cooked food with kibble. It is easy to make a batch every two weeks and freeze it in ziplock boxes. Laredo is very playful and MUST go to a home with another dog to play with. He plays with our chihuahua and our 100 pound gentle shepherd too! He can live with kids older than 10. A fenced yard is desirable as he LOVES to run around, but he can get through very small spaces (and very fast!) so the fencing must be secure at ground level and corners. Laredo is dependably house trained, non shedding, crate trained, and leash trained. If he is bored he will shred paper--newspaper, kleenex etc, but when provided with chew toys and squeeky toys he chews on them. He is neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention, up to date on vaccinations, worming, and flea/tick medication and has a HomeAgain microchip. Laredo's vet care was $322.02, so $300 adoption fee through his 501c3 non profit rescue will cover part of his documented veterinary care. Laredo is a very special, once-in-a-lifetime dog who will make someone very happy for a long time.
