Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Paws" is a handsome 5-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on January 26, 2017. "Paws" has a gray-and-white medium smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable mesmerizing face with intriguing markings on his muzzle (a splash of gray on both sides of his white muzzle) :)
This big boy was a real snuggle bunny when he was being checked into our shelter upon intake and was turning on the charm with our kennel techs. Paws loved being held in their arms :)
"Paws" was being listed as a 'Special Needs Cat' at the time of his arrival because of poor dental health and a possible infection in his mouth/teeth. He was placed on antibiotics in preparation for dental surgery, "Paws" was combo tested on January 31, 2017 and we were saddened to discover that he is positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) :( This special boy will be looking for a special home or rescue group who would be willing to give him the fabulous home that he truly deserves.
"Paws" had his dental procedure on March 13, 2017 and is recovering nicely. He has already been neutered.
These updated photos were taken on March 31, 2017, and our photographer fell in love all over again with "Paws". He is even more handsome these days and even more charming (if that is possible!). "Paws" has such a sweet personality and has so much love to bestow upon whomever will welcome him into their life and home. He does the kneading thing with his front paws and loved being carried around in the arms of the volunteer who helped him with his photo session.
Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net) if you would like to help "Paws". We can usually help with transportation.
