Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ellis is heartworm positive and won't be available until he's been treated and released from veterinarian care.
Ellis is a 2 year old neutered male Bichon mix. He currently weighs 18 pounds. He was rescued from a shelter in the North Texas area. Ellis has the sweetest disposition and loves attention. Our vet said that he has treated 60 plus dogs for Small Paws and that Ellis is the best dog that we’ve had at his office. That’s high praise!
Even though Ellis is 2 years old he has the exuberance of a puppy. Ellis is house trained and has never had an accident in the house. He loves his foster family and their 5 dogs. His favorite is the Border Collie that lives in the house. They play constantly and he loves to cuddle next to her. He spends his day playing with the other dogs, toys and watching squirrels. Ellis never gets very far from his foster mom and follows her around the house. When Ellis is picked up he snuggles to you to get as close as possible. Ellis loves to sleep with his foster family in the big bed. He has also been crated for short periods. Ellis needs a fenced yard or a person dedicated to walking him several times daily. Ellis would love to be adopted into a home with another dog and kids over 8.
Ellis is being fostered in TX
