Patty's Story...

Patty is a love bug - she likes nothing better than human companionship and has great potential as a lap cat, or couch potato. Patty was found abandoned at a house in Remington where a good samaritan had gone to look at homes for sale. She was sitting on the front porch, probably wondering where her family had gone.

She is very mellow, very good with young children ,as her photo shows, and would make a great family pet. Her guest quarters at the Cat Palace have been sweetly shared when cats/kittens that just need a place for the night. Patty was already spayed, her vaccinations are current she has tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and she is microchipped.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover spay/neutering, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50.

Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
