Niffler's Story...
Mr. Niffler, our now longest resident here at MCAS. He has been here for 2 months and counting. Here is his story: he was brought in stray and never reclaimed by an owner. He has been available for adoption yet has received very little interest. Niffler is about a year old. He has a wonderful disposition and loves all the attention he can get. Niffler is very vocal back in the kennels, begging to get out and play with a new friend. He seems to enjoy running in the outdoor play area and trying to play fetch. He would benefit from being neutered and possibly even some basic command training but overall he would make an excellent companion! If you would be interested in this boy, stop in and ask to meet him today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Niffler, a Troy Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Troy, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
