My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello friends, my name is Barbados! I'm a beautiful chihuahua mix born in March of 2016! I currently weigh about 10 pounds.

I recently made the journey here to MaxFund all the way from this far away place called New Mexico. I was residing in a shelter and found myself on a transport van traveling nearly over 600 miles to get here. The moment I got here I took a big whiff of that crisp Colorado air. Although, it was quite a journey I'm thankful to be here and I'm looking forward to a new beginning with a new best friend.

I came here with my sister Bora Bora we are more comfortable with one another and our personalities shine through more when we're together and we would love to be adopted out together, but it's not a requirement. I would say I am still adjusting to my new surroundings here. This is a whole new world for me! I know with some positive reinforcement and some love I'll break through my shell in no time. I would love to go to a home where my family is willing to help me get acquainted and help me build up my confidence. Aside from that I'm a very sweet and loving girl, I'd love to join you for leisurely walks around the neighborhood and explore this beautiful place with you. I've never seen the Rocky Mountains and I would love to take in that Colorado sun on a warm breezy summer day with you. There's so much to do here and I'm looking forward to writing out my story with you.

I have met some other pooches in the past and those interactions went wonderful, but if you have any fur siblings at home. I would love to meet them first before going to my forever home. The thing about being an explorer is it could be scary, but with the help of friends it all works out. Well what do you say? I just know will be the best of friends. Ask the front desk to meet with me today!
