Shady von Sterlyn's Story...
Shady von Sterlyn is a beautiful 12-month old Retriever mix on the smaller side. This sweet girl has the most fabulous hair a dog can ask for. Shady may start a little shy but her sweetness is readily apparent once she warms up. She has a medium-to-high energy level and loves to have a human’s company. She seems calm and comfortable around other dogs and staff at Westside believe she is housebroken already. With proper love and care, Shady will blossom into a beautiful girl that will do nothing but love you back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shady von Sterlyn, a Los Angeles Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
