August von Ace's Story...
August von Ace is a gorgeous 14 month old German Shepherd. He is happy to respond to certain basic commands and is eager to learn more. Both housebroken and mannerly on leash, this handsome, classic guy is great with people and good with both large and small dogs – even Chis are delighted that he does not mistake them for a stuffed toy. August barks only when there is a good reason and, like many shepherds, he will devotedly follow his person around the house in order to keep company with you. Neighbors will stare in envy when they see you walking August down the street, so come and meet him today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

August von Ace, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
