This is little Cianni. We don't know her exact age, but estimate her birthday to be 7/8/2016. Cianni came to EAPL, described as a Chihuahua mix. Although we believe she does have some Chihuahua in her, we also see a lot of Italian Greyhound. We have a sneaking suspicion she is also part kangaroo, as evidenced by her ability to jump counter high! Cianni is sleek and elegant. She's also timid, and takes a while to warm up to a person. Once she warms up, though, she will be your shadow! Cianni gets along well with other dogs, as long as they get along with her. She would appreciate another dog to play with, though she would also be okay being the only dog. We are working on her house training; it seems to be slow going, but she is making progress. Cianni's ideal situation would be in a household in which someone is home much of the time, since she really does like to hang out with her people. She would do best with an all adult, calm household. A yard with a six-foot fence is required (fence must be six feet at its lowest point, including gate). Cianni likes to sleep on her foster mom's bed; she appreciates the security and warmth of being in bed with her people. She is okay being crated for a few hours, when necessary.
