Koda's Story...
I was saved from a very bad situation by a wonderful lady. I was sick, infested with worms and needed some TLC. She got me healthy and now it's time for me to find my forever home! I'm a Husky, which basically means I'm the Energizer Bunny on steroids; I have to GO all the time! Runs, playing fetch or tug, whatever it is, I'm down! I get along great with other dogs who have the energy to keep up with me and want to wrestle. I haven't been around cats or kids so I'm not sure how I'd do with them. I will need a fence and a very active family or someone who can utilize doggy daycare several times a week.

Think you have the energy to keep up? Let's meet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Koda, a Wichita Siberian Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Wichita, or seeking a Siberian Husky puppy from a breeder in Wichita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wichita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wichita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wichita paves the way for another one to be saved.
