My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hunka Hunka Burning Love!

That’s our Peanut – he has so much love to give! Peanut was relinquished to the Coronado Animal Care Facility after his primary owner died. This handsome boy is extremely social, affectionate and playful.

When you walk by Peanut’s room, he is lounging on "his" couch. He looks you right in the eye and becomes very alert at seeing a friend. He meows hello and will roll onto his back to entice you to come in and spend time with him.

As soon as your hand touches the door he is down on the floor waiting to head butt and allorub you in greeting. He can’t decide which he wants first – to be picked up and held, petted or have a play session with his favorite cat toys. He gets so excited to have company and he just wants to hang out with you.

Peanut is a big boy, tall and weighing just over 16 pounds. He is sleek though and very toned – all very helpful when pouncing on his cat toys ;-)

Because of his heritage, Peanut needs a cat savvy family who will give him the time, attention and interaction he needs. We also feel that it would be best if he were in a home with adults, not younger children.

Come meet this handsome boy and see for yourself what a hunka, hunka burning love he is!

You can arrange to meet Peanut by calling Bob at 619-840-9727.
