MARLEY's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

MARLEY's Story...
MARLEY is a lovely golden retriever collie mix who is in need of her second chance home. Marley's mom suddenly passed away and Marley needs a new forever home with a loving family. Marley is an active and healthy spayed older adult female, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and housetrained. Marley would do well in most family situations, and would greatly benefit from a secure fenced yard to explore and run and play in. She would do best as an only pet in the home, and no cats please. If you can open your heart and home to this sweet girl to give her a new life, please call 201-264-6968 or email barbara@buddyrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MARLEY, a Limekiln Golden Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Collie for sale in Limekiln, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Limekiln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Limekiln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Limekiln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Limekiln paves the way for another one to be saved.
