Troy's Story...
Kyra's Rescue has recently welcoming angel-faced TROY from Istanbul, Turkey. At one time, 3 year old Troy had a family who loved him, but sadly the family fell on hard times and was forced to give him up. With few available options, they left him in the care of a nearby construction company. The construction workers cared for him as best they could, but Troy still felt the stinging loss of his family. Thankfully we know there are many families who will willingly open their hearts and homes to Troy in the U.S. If your door is open to this beautiful boy, please fill out an adoption form, which can be found under "Our Dogs" at www.kyrasrescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Troy, a Washington Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Washington, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
