My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

In case you are wondering why a yellow dog is named Snow: we were told that her first owners had too many dogs, and kept her tied up outside in the snow. A rescue person took her in and Snow became an inside dog, but the name stuck. Snow is now house-trained with good inside manners, and gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids. But she doesn't like to be left outside, she wants to be inside with her people. She looks like a small yellow lab and is full-grown at 35 pounds; our best guess is she is also part terrier.

Snow is about 11 months old, and has lots of puppy exuberance and energy. Although she settles down nicely in the house, she needs an off-leash romp in a back yard or dog park to burn off some of that energy. She loves to take long, brisk walks, and would be perfect for someone who wants a devoted companion for themselves, or playmate for another active dog. She would be an excellent candidate for agility training, because she is very athletic and very smart! She already knows Sit, Off, Come, and is learning to walk nicely in a Heel position on leash.

Snow would do best in a situation where someone is home during the day, to keep her well socialized and exercised, and continue with her obedience training. Although she is still a puppy, Snow has all the signs of being a great dog, if you get our drift!

Snow's adoption fee of $325 includes vet exam, heartworm test, DAPP (distemper combo) combination, Bordetella vaccination, Rabies vaccination, heartworm preventative, routine deworming, flea/tick preventative, microchip and spay.
