Liberty is a 4 year old neutered male fox red lab who weighs 71 pounds.
Liberty is a very happy dog who likes to be with you getting attention and having his butt scratched. He is happy hanging out with you and hasn’t shown an interest in playing with toys or retrieving, but we can fix that. He needs a family that will be home more than gone as he likes to be with you. He will bark for a while when you leave but then settles down. He would do best in a single family home in a rural or suburban area.
Liberty is good with other large dogs but will chase smaller animals so no cats or small dogs. He is approved for kids 10 and up. He knows some commands and would do best walking with an Easy Walk Harness.
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northeast North Carolina (30 miles east of I-95 and north of the Pamlico Sound.) Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.
Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is required.
